PGCB 230/132/33kV GIS Substation at Naogaon Grid

PGCB 230/132/33kV GIS Substation at Naogaon Grid

We are currently engaged in the Testing and Commissioning of the Siemens 230kV and 132kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Control and Relay Panels (CRP) at the Naogaon PGCB 230/132/33kV Grid Substation. This vital project is being carried out on behalf of our esteemed client, CNTIC, with Siemens supplying the GIS and CRP equipment. The project is owned and overseen by the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB).

Our scope of work includes comprehensive testing, precise configuration, and commissioning of advanced Siemens protection relays to ensure optimal protection, control, and monitoring of the high-voltage switchgear infrastructure. The protection relays commissioned as part of this project include:
Siemens SIPROTEC 5 – 7SA87: Main-1 Distance Protection Relay
Siemens SIPROTEC 5 – 7UT86: Main Transformer Protection Relay
Siemens SIPROTEC 5 – 7SJ81: Feeder Protection Relay
Siemens SIPROTEC 4 – 7SA612: Main-2 Distance Protection Relay

Siemens SIPROTEC 4 – 7UT61: Backup Transformer Protection Relay

Our highly skilled engineering team is meticulously performing functional and secondary injection testing, validating relay settings, and ensuring seamless integration with the substation’s control and automation systems. These efforts uphold stringent reliability and safety standards vital for the uninterrupted operation of the regional power transmission network.

The successful completion of this testing and commissioning phase will significantly enhance the operational stability, fault detection capabilities, and overall efficiency of the Naogaon Grid Substation, thereby contributing to the resilience and performance of the national power grid.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and partnership of CNTIC, Siemens, and PGCB, and reaffirm our commitment to delivering excellence, precision, and timely execution at every stage of this critical project.
